Consortium Project »Digital Supply Chains & Integrated Planning«

KP-SCM-Banner-Website-INC-en
Chip crisis, disrupted logistics networks due to natural disasters, a global pandemic, compliance requirements – Supply chain transparency enables companies to react faster and better in uncertain and dynamic environments.

An integrated planning is key to efficient fulfilment of current customer needs and to face increasing demand for individualized components, product variants and faster lead times. Solutions for an efficient and transparent supply chain management and integrated planning frequently offer the highest potential for companies in the area of industry 4.0. However limited island solutions, high customization and suppliers with a poor infrastructure still hinder the digitalization agenda of many companies.

Become a partner in our consortium project and actively determine the focus and priorities of our activities to leverage the potentials of a digital supply chain and integrated planning for your company.

Value Proposition

At the end of the project, you will have a clear vision on why and how to digitalize your supply chain and integrated planning.

  • Develop your competences in trainings for horizontal integration of industry 4.0 applications
  • Receive individual options for action based on an on-site check-up of the current status of your digital supply chain and planning activities at your company
  • Experience best practices during company visits for topics defined by the consortium
  • Get a broad market overview of available solutions
  • Connect with experts in the field who can help you with implementation and develop own competencies in this area

Project Workflow

During the first project phase, the participants receive basic training on the topic of digital supply chain and integrated planning. In parallel, on-site check-ups at every consortium partner will be conducted to determine the status quo of digital supply chain and integrated planning applications and to derive concrete fields of action for implementation against the background of individual goals.

In the following project phase, relevant application fields will be defined based on the preferences of the consortium partners and the insights gained in the first project phase. Subsequently, an international benchmarking will be carried out to identify “good practices” in the defined fields of application, and specific solutions will be presented in a structured manner and made accessible to all participants.

In the third phase of the consortium project, we visit selected companies that have been identified as “good practices” in the benchmarking process. In addition, the group of consortium partners selects individual applications that will be put into practice in prototype solutions. Finally, you will receive an overview of solution providers who can support you in the implementation of SC solutions.
