In our consortial benchmarking study “Achieving Excellence in Edge AI”, we work with you to identify the most promising use cases, derive requirements for correspondingly necessary technology developments, analyze technological solutions currently available on the market, and use this to develop a unique roadmap that brings together technology and application and will thus serve as a guide for you regarding Edge AI in the coming years.
We conduct the consortium benchmarking study in a total of three project phases.
During the first phase, the “Market Pull”, we identify the most promising application fields for and of Edge AI. In this project phase, we also perform a preliminary assessment of the complexity and market maturity of the previously identified applications and determine the business potential together with you.
In the following phase, the “Technology Push”, we use the study partners to develop a technology toolbox and an overview of existing Edge AI applications and tools.
In the remaining 2 months, we create an Edge AI master plan together with the study participants. Here you have the opportunity to challenge your own solutions and products in direct competition with your market companions and thus identify development potentials in the protected environment of a consortium together with competent partners and tap possible synergies of the network.
The Market Pull and Technology Push phases each last three months, and we have planned two additional months for the final evaluation and the development of the roadmap.
In less than a year, you will receive a well-founded assessment of your own competencies and will be able to identify development potential and needs within this time.

Participation in our benchmarking study is open to companies from a wide range of industries. We address (potential) users of Edge AI, among others from the fields of industrial automation, automotive, semiconductor industry, mechanical and plant engineering as well as healthcare.
