3. May 2019
On April 23, 2019 we welcomed the Minister of Transport of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany Hendrik Wüst and his delegation to our INC Invention Center Office in Hong Kong.
Together with the representatives of the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), Mr. Willy Lin, Mr. Mohamed D. Butt, and Mr. Edomand Lai, Dr. Benny Drescher, Business Development Asia Pacific for INC Invention Center, welcomed the delegation. At the meeting, we could present the cooperation between the HKPC and the Hong Kong office of INC Invention Center, which is a cooperation of Fraunhofer IPT and the RWTH Aachen Campus to the Minister of Transport and his delegation. This promising cooperation between Aachen (NRW) and Hong Kong inspired the Minister in a positive way and led to great interest in intensifying the cooperation in the future.

Mr. Wüst and his companions showed great interest in the activities on Industrie 4.0, Innovation, and Mobility which are jointly advanced by the INC Invention Center and the HKPC in Hong Kong. The opportunity to create customer-centric innovations on site, from the initial idea to the tangible prototype, using state-of-the-art methods such as design thinking, ensured lively enthusiasm among our visitors.

We thank you very much for your visit and look forward to working more closely with the Federal State of NRW in the future.
